Yep, “pretty cool” is an understatement... I’d kill to have one. I can,t afford it now as I have other projects on the way, but someday it will be in my garage :)
Crappy cell phone picture for you...
Also on my side of things, clutch, transmission and differential oils have been changed. My clutch feels litteraly brand new lol... It needed that.
Next time, brakes will be bleeded and purged. I can’t lock my wheels under hard braking and well, let’s say it’s not exactly normal :)

How did the paint get all crackled? And have you driven it yet?

Nope, not driven it yet, but I’m thinking of doing an “Oppo Review” of it sometime soon... No idea how it got cracked like this, but my guess is that it spent time maybe under the snow, then under heavy sun and that circle repeating itself for like 50 years :)

A review would be good. I always thought the 360 was one of the better microcars of the era.

It sure looks cool. But I found driving it not as exciting as I’d expect: this one needs more power!
Many other cool cars around there as well!

Oh really... I have honestly no idea as I never even sat in one... I think it’s a car/road type of fun car. It’s the kind of car that has to be driven on certain types of roads to really get full sensations.
Like a Honda Beat for exemple. Way too slow, but driven at the correct place, on the correct road, it’s a truly epic little thing.

Well, because it’s such a light and nimble thing I did expect somewhat motorbike-like acceleration. And that it didn’t deliver. I even took it to the Highway and indeed: Certainly not the place for this one.
It was a sensation to drive and has it’s share of epic-ness, especially when it comes to how it looks. But Morgan should really find a way to get more out of that 2-liters engine: 82hp is just not enough. It is for it’s top speed as 180km/h in such a thing is terrifying anyway but the acceleration really needs more oooomph! A Volkswagen Polo GTI, not even costing half of the 3-wheeler, can probably outrun this!
And I totally agree on your Honda Beat remark, I’ve had lots of fun in a FIAT Panda 100HP and a Peugeot 106 Rallye as well. But at the price-range the Morgan is in I’d simply expect more. Or to be able to get more and that’s where Morgan was failing miserably when I went looking at it as there was no way they could improve power at the importer’s site. Well: Maybe that was my biggest disappointment ;-)

Solution to the affordability problem:
Buy tadpole trike
Attach (BRG painted) soap box derby car body
Slap small motorcycle/moped engine on the front
Have lots of fun
Die horribly
